Open the Google Play store. Just like your phone, you will be greeted with menus full of apps, and given tools to search and find just what you want. Accept Terms of Service. If this is your first time logging in to the Google Play Store, you will need to accept the terms of service associated with it.
These are not significantly different than the terms of service offered on your other smart devices, but you can review the details on screen before accepting. Look through options. The main screen of the Google Play Store offers a number of highlighted apps, and several rows of featured apps, divided into various categories. Individual apps are represented by large tiled icons, with bright logos and eye-catching graphics. Select an app.
To select an app, simply navigate with the directional buttons on the remote, and highlight the tile in question. Press enter to view details about the app. Pull up app information. On the screen, you can view information about the app, including a description of what the app does. You can also learn details of the service and functions offered in the app, learn if there any in-app purchases, and get a preview of the app from a selection of screenshots. You can also read customer reviews to learn whether other users of the app are satisfied with the experience.
Install the app. It's the person-shaped icon in the top-right corner of the screen. Enter your LG account details and select Sign In. Your account details include your email address and your password. Scroll up on your TV's remote. This will cause the home page to scroll right, allowing you to view the different app categories.
On the home page, there are multiple cards with category names e. Select Install. This button is just below the app's title. You'll see the price here instead of Install if the app isn't free. Select OK when prompted. This will begin installing the app. Once it finishes downloading, you can select Launch where the Install button was to start the app.

Selecting the Categories tab will show you different categories of app. Select an app you wish to download and tap the remote. Doing so will open the app's page. If you're on the Categories tab, you'll first have to select a category.
This option should be in the middle of your app's page. Your app will begin downloading to your Apple TV. For paid apps, this button will display the app's price.
You may be prompted to enter your Apple ID password for paid apps. Method 5. You'll need to change the input to use your Fire Stick if you haven't yet done so. Open the sidebar. To do so, simply use the left side of your remote's circular directional dial to scroll to the left until the sidebar pops out from the left side of the screen. It's the circular button in the middle of the directional dial.
You'll find Apps about halfway down the sidebar. Select an app filter. You can scroll down to select the Spotlight tab to view featured apps, for example, or the Top Free tab to scroll through the top-rated free apps. If you just want to browse all apps, select the Categories feature and then select a category in which you're interested.
Select an app and press your remote's "Select" button. Select Get and press your remote's "Select" button. You should see Get below and to the right of the app's icon. Your selected app will begin downloading to your Amazon Fire TV.
